The Australia-Chile Chamber of Commerce (ACCC) was established in 1981 with the objective of promoting closer trade links between Australia and Chile.

The Chamber is a private, non-for-profit company, whose membership comprises individuals and companies from all business sectors and from throughout Australia. It is the leading reference point for those persons wanting to benefit from the wide range of business opportunities that Chile has to offer Australia.

In addition to the close links it maintains with its members and sponsors, the ACCC has invaluable ties with the worldwide network to Chile Chambers of Commerce, as well as the Australia Latin America Business Council (ALABC), Austrade and the Council on Australia Latin America Relations (COALAR). The ACCC also works closely with the Chilean Consulate in Sydney as well as the Chilean Embassy in Canberra. These networks foster cooperation and allow the exchange of information and the expansion of expertise, enhancing the ability to promote bilateral relations between Chile and Australia.

The principal objectives of the Council are:

  • To promote and encourage trade and investment between Australia and Chile.
  • To provide members with the opportunity to network with persons who have an interest in or are involved in doing business with markets in Chile.
  • To represent the interests of Australian business in all matters relating to the development of trade and investment links between Australia and Chile.
